Just thought I’d pop in to wish you all a Merry Christmahanukkwanzastivus and a Happy New Year… 😀
Murry wutchurmeckallit hurself thar ser balrog. Too much eggnog has had I.
Hi I was wondering if you could help me? I have received a sword and and axe from my father (he passed away a little while ago) and while I’m not looking to sell them, I would just like to know what they are. I’ve had a look on line and the sword looks like some kind of replica fantasy sword but I can’t find it on line (the axe is a total mystery, it has a dagger that comes out of the handle). They are both about 28 inches long and pretty heavy. I know you specialise in real weapons but if you guys could point me in at least the right direction I’d really appreciate it!
This is the axe.
This is the sword.
I wasn’t able to find anything out about the Axe, however the Sword looks a suspicious lot like something Kit Rae might make…
why no new posts lately?

Very cool blog. Swords are my life and you have a lot of info about swords.
Hey, I have been reading this blog since what? a year ago? 🙂 . I love the creftsmanship in weapons and I really like the way you pick up on all of this, and make absolutely brilliant deductions about a blades quality, just from a few pictures. Maybe later on today I will up my collection on a comment and see what you think (tehe).
I hope you will start re blogging soon
Came across this today
I’m pretty sure they are the nicest designs I have seen for a long time.
Though I will admit to never really being a fan of the aesthetics of the leaf style blade, those are indeed pretty nice!
