Yet another freaky fang-like blade for fashionable fighting fingers wishing to induce fear… 🙂 :
OK. Big bad finger blade. We get it. But “Touch of Death”? Errrm… No. As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, there is a reason that finger weapons are far and few in the history of medieval weaponry. They aren’t particularly lethal. And they have a nasty habit of damaging a wielders fingers if used improperly. Unless, of course, they are poisoned.
But even then they are, at best, an assassins tool, since no self respecting combatant worth their salt would let you get close enough to cut them (especially in any lethal fashion) with such a thing. Unless, again, they didn’t see you coming.
So, yes. It’s a cool finger blade. Is it the Touch of Death? No. I don’t think so. Not unless you are a Ninja… 😛
The Touch of Death – [True Swords]
Yay, hehe as you propbably already know by now, I am a big fan of these. It would be fun though, if you could go all cat woman on someone’s ass.
Oh, this is what my own peice of finger armor looks like minus the blade, but the desgin in the armored part is very simillar to my own.
LOL Yes, I’m quite familiar with your affinity for such finger blades!! 🙂
While wearing a bunch of these blades individually might still not provide enough support to prevent you from possibly breaking a few fingers in spirited “crazy claw” action, you could probably take a real armored gauntlet and retrofit the finger pieces with these. The whole thing would them probably be make it strong enough to go all “cat woman” on some poor unsuspecting sap… LOL
Hehe sounds like a party
Oh dear. Remind me to never annoy you, LoS.
Mind you. Touch of Death is a fairly intimidating name… Y’know, it’d suck to order one of these and then it doesn’t fit.
You know thats a good point. I’ve never really thought about that. Are these one size fits all? I doubt it. They should have at least made 3 sizes… LOL
